30 Day Shred Round Two

I did the 30 Day Shred before.  I had great results.

Well, I wish I would have continued with my progress, because I’m back to square 1 and starting the 30 Day Shred again. I did it September 2012, and here we are again.  Darn you comfort food! In an effort to kick start my weight loss efforts again, I’m back to 30DS.

I LOVE it because it works.  It’s only 25 minutes and you get a great workout.

I HATE it because I get so sick of Jillian.  I get sore.  I have to work hard.

But I’m doing it. I started today (so if you see me limping and having a hard time moving, it’s Jillian’s fault).

I won’t be quite as aggressive as last time (attempting 30 consecutive days), but I’m aiming for 5 times a week.  I’m also gonna vary the workouts.  Instead of 10 days with one level, I’m gonna switch them up so I don’t get sick of it.

Here goes nothing! All I have to lose is weight. 🙂  If you see me on IG or Twitter griping about Jillian, or see me posting a selfie at 4:30 am (my typical 30DS time), give me a “like.”  This isn’t easy, but somehow the accountability keeps me honest and keeps me going.  H

I got up this morning to do it (after clearing out space in the mudroom last night) and didn’t have my DVD.  BUT I did the Ripped in 30 by Jillian (which is basically the same…) so I’m considering this day 1.  Done.

  1. I’m proud of you!! I have 30DS…pretty sure I’ve never done it more than two consecutive days. That junk is TOUGH!!! You should have told me you were starting…I could have done it with you. NOW IT’S TOO LATE!!! 😉

  3. Great job! I have thought about getting it but I’m worried about it being too tough. Do you have to buy any extras to do the video? Are there a bunch of squats? I hate squats!

  4. I did like 10 days of the 30 day Shred, then I got sick, so I stopped for a few days, and then I never started it back up again. I agree, though, doing level 1 every single day for 10 days gets really old. I would almost rather do level one for a couple days, then do level 2 for a couple days, etc… I’m in the process of wanting to shed some pounds too, girl. I’m trying to hold myself accountable to everything I put in my mouth, as well as making sure I’m active and working out consistently. I’ll be over here cheering you on!

  6. I have tried too many times to do the 30 Day Shred and have never made it past the second video. Call me lazy!

    I also wanted to let you know that my Bloglovin’ feed isn’t right—I’m going through finding folks who are following me in the pre-Wordpress days and letting them know to update! I’ve been bad about my personal blog and it needs some TLC!
