35 Week Update

35 Week Update

How far along? 35 weeks!

Baby is the size of: a honeydew, a rabbit, a children’s backpack, or a bunch of carrots.

Maternity clothes? Yup. I’m large and in charge. I’m wearing Tyler’s basketball shorts and XL shirts at home, too.

Sleep: Most nights I can sleep pretty well thanks to my pregnancy pillow, essential oils, and stopping drinking liquids at 7-8 so I don’t have to pee all night.

Best moment this week: Seeing my bestie and doing baby shopping with her.

Movement: She’s boogie-ing around in there.  A few times at work I’ve been able to watch my belly move! Tyler still hasn’t felt much (darn you, anterior placenta) but I do feel her more at night.

Food cravings: Pizza and donuts. But I can’t really eat either, thanks to gestational diabetes. I am going to let myself eat ONE donut on Sunday when mom and I go to brunch.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really. I had one bought of nausea, but it was odd and went away after my next meal.

Symptoms: The chiropractor helped my pelvic pain some…but I’m feeling pregnant these days.  Aches and uncomfortableness.

Belly button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? I’m not wearing them most of the time so I don’t swell up.

Happy or moody most of the time: Most of this week was ok, but had a rough day with some high blood sugar numbers.

Looking forward to: Packing hospital bags and installing the car seat. It’s on my goal list for this week!
