How far along? 40 weeks. Fully cooked!
Baby is the size of: a watermelon, a beach ball, and a red panda.
Maternity clothes? Yes. With the exception of Tyler’s basketball shorts and shirts. And my occasional oversized tunic. I had to buy some new shoes because I literally had NO PAIRS OF CLOSED TOE SHOES that fit one day. Hello swollen feet!
Sleep: Still sleeping ok-ish. My hips and pelvis hurt SO bad when I lay down- it takes me a while to get comfy. Sunday night Tyler had to get me Tylenol once I laid down because I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep with the pain.
Best moment this week: We had a GREAT doctor’s appointment. I was worried about what his plans and suggestions for the birth would be. And he gave us GREAT news. He is recommending that we wait until the 10th to do an induction to give us time to progress naturally. While I want to get my baby here, I don’t want to rush anything. So I’m super grateful he isn’t being induction happy too soon.
Also, sweet Tyler went shopping once we hit October (and officially will be having an October baby) and bought me a beautiful opal ring! I had asked for a birthstone ring for Christmas already, but he couldn’t wait! I love it!
Movement: She’s moving when she can! No room! Pain in my ribs for the first time this pregnancy.
Food cravings: I was CRAVING spaghetti and was actually able to eat some on Sunday. My sugars had been lower that morning, so at lunch I ordered some with extra sauce (protein helps with the sugar numbers) and ate half the pasta. My sugar was ok after- success!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really!
Symptoms: Aside from the general uncomfortableness- I’m doing pretty great.
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? I’m not wearing them most of the time so I don’t swell up.
Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty great. I’m in good spirits (except for a stressful situation when I may have verbally assaulted someone. Ooops.).
Looking forward to: Our appointment Thursday and waiting for her to come!
Just for an FYI- It may take me a bit to announce her arrival here on the blog, but my Instagram will have it pretty quickly. So if you want to stay updated, follow me on IG @brittneydeanne
