Angry Songs for a Bad Day

Angry Songs for a Bad Day

Thankfully, most of my days are happy days.  However, sometimes there are days when you just need angry music.  Whether I’m stressed, upset, mad, or just need to let off some steam…I turn to music. If you need some angry music to help you get over your bad day, this list will do the trick.
I happen to have an “angry music” playlist on my iPod for these types of days.  Here are some of my favorite songs to scream at the top of my lungs.

Angry Music for When You are in a Bad Mood

You and Your Hand by Pink.  This one has some bad/explicit language, but MAN is it good for a bad day, especially if your crummy mood was brought on by a boy.
Totally F**ked from Spring Awakening.  Yes, it’s from a musical, but it’s totally packed with teen angst.  Very angry.
B*tch of Living from Spring Awakening.  Also a great one.  General crummy days are perfect for this one.  Or any sort of sexual frustration since that’s sort of what the song is about.
Forget You by Karmin.  I know, this is a Cee Lo Green song…but I like Karmin’s cover of it best.Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson. This one’s a belter, ladies.  Better warm up first before you scream this one in your car.

La Vie Boheme from Rent.  Another musical song (I’m a musical lover #sorrynotsorry), but this one is a great “stick it to the man” song.
Natalie by Bruno Mars.  While this is a very catchy song, it’s a song about man who was wronged by a woman.  There is a lot of anger there.
The World Will Know from Newsies.  Yup, another musical.  But if you’ve got something to prove, this song will pump you up.
Set Fire to the Rain by Adele.  Ooh girl, this one has some great belting potential.  You might blow out the windows in your car singing this one at the top of your lungs.
Stronger by Kelly Clarkson. This is another power anthem that you can sing along to.
Fighter by Christina Aguilera.  Have you been wronged?  This one will make you throw a few punches back.
Lose Yourself by Eminem. This song stirs something in my soul.  The beat is so driving.  It gets me worked up, in a good way.
There ya have it kids.  My angry playlist.  Usually getting through these songs makes me feel so much better. There is something therapeutic about music, especially emotionally charged music.
What songs do you jam to on a bad day?
