34 Week Highlights

34 Week Highlights

Oh little bug, what fun we are having. You are just the highlight of every day!

She went to daycare looking SO cute. And she wouldn’t put down that ball for anything to take a picture.

We are trying to be so intentional with reading at night to encourage that sweet babbling to turn into talking. She was really into Corduroy!

She’s having a messy blast eating dinner.  Lots of self-feeding finger foods. Black beans and blackberries were a big mess, and a hit!

I captured these selfies to show what snuggle time looks like these days. We smile and laugh and then she grabs my hair and my face. Gotta love it.

She didn’t nap great last week, so we had some early bedtimes. While I don’t love cutting our evenings short, I know she needs that rest to grow!

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend

Oh we had a fun weekend together! I hated that Tyler had to work, but he joined in the fun when he could.  (These are out of order, but ain’t got time to fix it…so here are the highlights)

We took her to the waterpark on Memorial Day. It was BUSY but we got there when it opened to get seats in the shade.

She wasn’t sure at first, but ended up loving it.

Some play time in the shade….

I loved our matching blue swimsuits and pink hats.  My best girl.

We were there with the grandmas and cousins. We had a great time!

She wanted to be belly down, but the concrete was rough on little knees….so Kelsey helped her leg surf. ha!

She even took a little nap in the shade. The sun and fun will wear a girl out!

She LOVED when I put her swimsuit cover up on her. LOVED the hood. Big smiles.

She took a nap before we ever got the waterpark. My little frog. We used to call her tree frog as a teeny tiny newbie, and she still sleeps with her knees tucked.

We did LOTS of playtime with Daddy when he was home. He’s the best.

We were in Hot Springs on Sunday and she wore her red, white and blue then. I am in love with these sweet rompers. She did great in the hotel. Slept her normal time in the pack and play and was as great girl.

We got to see family in Hot Springs. We got to play with Uncle Neil…

Family picture time. Love this crazy crew. Gavin is only smiling because he’s bunny-earing his dad.

Nene and Carl were teaching her how to beat on the table. Girl likes to drum!

We went to Caitlyn’s dance recital in Hot Springs and she got some Nene lovings.

Saturday morning, she was practically asking for a nap. Just couldn’t hang. ha!

We got to see Aunt Sandy and play together at recital. And how cute is our unicorn romper? LOVE.

So that was our fun weekend: home, Hot Springs, hotel stay, back home, water park. Lots of fun. She’s so easy going and takes it all in.

This little girl brings so much laughter into our lives. She’s so happy all of the time and is learning such fun things!

These first couple of pictures are from when I was gone to Hanson Day. She had a BLAST with her grandmas and daddy.  Tyler would go to my mom’s to hang after work and help put her to bed. Mom and Nancy played with her during the days. She loved it.

I did get to Facetime her one morning. She was smiley and happy.

One afternoon, she took a long carseat nap (daycare play wears you out!) and she looked like an angel. So sweet.

We wore some cute outfits this week! LOVE this cotton candy colored ensemble! (The bow came off before daycare. Ain’t no need for bows there).

She is LOVING finger foods! She still gets some purees and yogurt and such…but berries are her JAM. This week she loved raspberries and cooked carrot slices.

We attempted the park after dinner one night. Not impressed. We only stayed for like 5 minutes because she didn’t care. ha!

And this cute outfit rounded out the week. Watermelon romper. I die.

Just crazy fun together. She’s learning to crawl, playing so well with her toys, and working on some tricks (working on “bye bye” and clapping). Love her so much!

This girl is on the MOVE! She’s up on all fours and rocking…and she can army crawl (not quite full crawling yet) but she can get across the room! So crazy! She crawled over to Pippin. The dogs (and their toys) better watch out!

This was taken on Mother’s Day. It was a pretty uneventful day since Tyler was working- so we just did normal church and lunch and naps. We were singing and playing together and had a great day together. I love being her mama.

This was taken on Saturday morning. We planned a surprise birthday party for Grammy, and she played while I cooked breakfast!

This is the face of a baby who woke up at 5 a.m. ready to play. Oh well, more playtime together!

One day last week, she wore her Hanson “Play” onesie. I LOVE it.

The back is PERFECT for our busy little girl.

Baby planks are the best. (ignore our messy living room…we had done a spray bath after dinner and hadn’t put on jammies yet- hence the towel and jammies.)

I got SUCH CHEESY smiles before daycare one morning. So silly.

Getting so big! Talking so much, so close to crawling (we are still creeping) and saying real words.
