I’m finally ready to share all the details of our circus nursery! I love it. It’s pretty gender neutral. While I love things pink and sparkly, I wanted bright and fun for our nursery.
I was inspired by some pins I found on Pinterest, and I’m so glad how everything came together. I had a circus nursery as a child (many more clowns than you’d imagine..and no, I’m not afraid of clowns), but I wanted bright and fun without being too theme-y.
I’m including links and details for the stuff inside in case anyone finds this looking for circus nursery inspiration. It was always so helpful to have links to products instead of being sent on a wild goose chase. 🙂
The room is painted with W 6686 Lemon Chiffon from Sherwin-Williams at a 50% darker shade.
This is the view from the hallway.
Coming in the room. The furniture is Million Dollar Baby brand from Crib City in Tulsa. It’s the Ashbury collection in Manor Grey.
The changing table is topped with a canopy from Ikea and a vinyl from Etsy. The decal perfectly matches our bedding. I think she had used that set for inspiration before I ever found it. The bedding and changing pad covers are Room365 from Target, but they are a retired pattern that I found on Amazon.
The cart is from Ikea. The laundry basket is from Target and was seasonal.
The glider is a custom glider and ottoman from Buy Buy Baby. It’s a marled blue color. The curtains and rug came from Amazon (I still need to try and steam the creases out of the rug!). The pillow is from HomeGoods. The little red nightstand is from Ikea.

I found this adorable elephant rocker on Zulily.
I actually made these prints! I bought the clip art for $5 on Etsy and put Bible verses with each one using photo editing software. I had them printed at FedEx and framed them with Ikea frames. The verses are: Lion: Be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9), Elephant: God is within her, she will not fall (Psalm 46:5), Clown: A happy heart makes the face cheerful (Proverbs 15:13), and Tent: Let your light shine before others (Matthew 5:16).
Close up of the bedding. The mobile is from The Bouncy Pigeon on Etsy.
My friend Kristin at The Simple Perks made the name cards, and I got the elephant string art in Tulsa at the Blue Dome Arts Festival from Indigo Rose Design. The “I love you to the moon and back” is something that mom bought YEARS ago that I’ve been storing. The lamp is from Wal-Mart.
The bookshelf is from Ikea, the baskets are from Target. The painted toy bucket is custom made by Cross My Art locally.
We are blessed with a VERY full closet. Lots of shoes, clothes, diapers and more!
On the bookshelf, we have some “vintage” stuffed animals that belonged to me and Tyler.
In the entry corner, we have an Ikea growth chart vinyl. The lamp is from Lowe’s and I added the cute little pom poms to it.
She’s got a TON of bows already. While this is technically in the bathroom, it’s something I’m proud of making.
Tyler’s cousin Kelsey had this adorable sign made for her. I LOVE it. It’s hung by the entry way.
So there you have it! Our finished circus nursery. Now we just wait on Remington to join us!
