I can not believe how much snow we got! Thankfully, the second round only dropped a few more inches on us (Central Arkansas got the brunt of it! I saw friends have over a foot of snow…which is unheard of in Arkansas!).

Since hardly any of the first round had melted, we got about 8-9 inches total.

We did get plenty of snow fun in this second round, too. If you give an Arkansan snow, they’re gonna play in it!

Remi was getting tired of being home- which was evident as I tried to work and she couldn’t go more than 10 minutes without coming in and needing attention…so we sent her to Mimi’s for the night/day. Thankfully, Tyler can drive in the snow/ice, so we safely got her there to play.

It was just what she needed! Lots of attention, new toys and scenery.

While she was gone, I took a couple long snow walks. I also needed some fresh air and sunshine.

On Friday, the weather was PERFECT for playing in the (melting) snow. We decided to make a Remi-sized snowman. It was very fun (and the biggest snowman I’ve ever been able to make!).

We also had a big snowball fight down the driveway. So much fun!

Lastly, Remi was VERY into snow soccer. She’s committed to her sport!

I was glad and sad to see it melt. It’s been fun, but I’m ready for Spring- long walks, hiking, being able to leave my house whenever I want…..but the snow was certainly a once-in-a-lifetime snow storm for our state.
