Feelin’ Good

So I’ve been back on the weight loss train.

I started about a month ago…but was on the #strugglebus for a couple weeks.  Making changes is tough.  It took me a bit to find my groove again.

But I’ve had a SUPER great week.  I haven’t weighed myself yet, because we all know I have issues with the scale.  I’m trying not to be ruled by it.

I’ve done the Made to Crave Bible study at church, and it’s been great for helping me get my mind in the right place.

But I’ve made great choices: extra workouts, eating good, being kind to myself….and overall this last week I’ve felt really great.  It’s amazing how quickly you feel better.  Sure, I hate getting up ta 4:30 to workout most mornings, but it’s getting easier.  Sure, I wanted to devour an entire pizza the other day at lunch, but I chose to eat half of my personal pan.  Choices add up…and I’m feeling good about it all.

Now if only I could bottle this feeling and keep it for the tough days….


  1. Ugh. I need to re-harness my ability to be diligent on this count. I know I CAN be more disciplined food-wise, but for some reason I am having a lot of trouble getting back on track this time around. I totally let myself go after the adoption failed…and I can’t mentally bring myself to get it back together!! I’ve been doing great working out, but no one-hour workout can make up for 23 hours of free for all eating!!! ughhhhhhh….anyway, hoping we both see more success soon!!! 🙂
