I’m the kind of girl that buys Christmas gifts all year long.
In fact, this year, I bought my first Christmas gift on New Year’s Day at the big Dillard’s sale.
I buy things when they’re on sale, or just when I think of them. I keep a running list on my phone with everyone’s name, the gifts I bought, and then I mark them “DONE” when I finish buying gifts for them (so I don’t end up with too many gifts for one person).
And I’m happy to say that this year, I’m finished buying gifts as of today, November 10. I ordered my last gifts yesterday.
Now my goal is to have them all wrapped by Thanksgiving, so that when I put up my tree, I can set out the gifts and just enjoy the season.
I know I’m crazy early on this. I know some of you haven’t started thinking of Christmas gifts. But I like to get it over with.
The jump start on the holidays makes it easier for me to enjoy them instead of worrying about tasks.
It just works for me.
What approach do you take on gifts? Are you a last minute shopper? Year-round like me? I’d love to hear what works for you!
