Looking Forward

Looking Forward

I thrive on making plans and having things to look forward to.  I don’t know why…but I love it.  I love having stuff on the calendar, thinking about the events, planning for them.

I think my “travel bug” has something to do with it.  Or maybe it’s an adventure thing.  I see all of these plans as grand adventures.

Either way….there are two things this weekend that I’ve been looking forward to for a long time….and I could just about burst from excitement.

Only three more sleeps until Mythbusters Live!!!

I bought these tickets a LONG time ago (like Spring!) for Tyler’s birthday.  When his birthday rolled around, we were unsure what his police schedule would be like, and whether or not he would be able to go….but we kept the tickets anyway.  And lo and behold, he is working M-TH this week….so he gets to go Friday!  Woop!

We are going to make a night of it…the show, sushi, and Christmas lights on the square!  I can’t wait!

And then…on Saturday night…we are headed to Little Rock to see GARTH BROOKS!

Ohmygoodness ohmygoodness ohmygoodness!

As soon as Garth announced his tour, I knew I HAD to go.  Then I started talking to my friend Rachel and she wanted to go too.  It was set.  We were going to Garth Brooks.  So when he announced his Little Rock shows, the dates worked out, and we got tickets (it was a stressful morning trying to get a hold of Ticketmaster!).  I’m pretty pumped to finally see him live.  It’s gonna be awesome.

So yeah…I’m pretty dadgum excited about these things.  And then I’ll have more things to look forward to (Pentatonix, Hanson Day…).

What are you looking forward to right now?

  1. I’m so jealous about BOTH of these things! Have fun! I’m just looking forward to all the fun parties over the next 2 weeks and a short pre-Christmas trip with the family. Love my people!

    • Yes, Christmas parties are always fun! And a family trip sounds awesome! I tried to convince some family to just take a vacation together instead of buying gifts…but no one was in for it. Have fun on your trip!

  2. I want to hear all about Mythbusters Live! We really wanted to go, but it just isn’t happening this year.

    • You can bet I’ll be recapping it next week! 🙂 We have AWESOME seats (I’m a Walton Arts Subscriber..and I bought the tickets the day they went on sale back in April) so I’m hoping one of us gets picked to help bust a myth.
