Last week my focus was on drinking enough water.  I guzzled and BOY do I feel good!

My one thing that I’m focusing on this week is prayer.  I am the first to admit I don’t have the strong prayer life I would like. Often when I get stressed, anxious, worried, or in a bind – I will mentally go over and over the situation, I will talk about it to others…but prayer is not my first response.  I want it to be.  While I know this will take a lifetime to cultivate, I want to focus on prayer this week.  I have woken up feeling anxious for no reason, I’ve got a few things on my mind…so I am going to work on praying about those things (instead of just keeping them in my mind).

I’m going to keep this verse at the front of my mind – Philippians 4:6 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

 

So, that’s my one thing. Prayer.  What’s yours?
