I think it is fun to get to know random things about people….so here goes:

1. I am a chiropractic fan.  I was in a wreck in high school and started having back pain.  The chiro is the only thing that makes me pain and headache free!

2. I used to be a habitual teeth flosser.  I would carry floss with me and use it all the time.  My dentist actually told me I was flossing too much and to cut back!

3. My favorite fast food is a Taco Bell/KFC combo.  It is strange, but I love to have a Mexican Pizza and a corn on the cob.  I was sooo happy when I realized the small town we moved to had a TB/KFC

4. I didn’t try guacamole until I was in grad school.  I went to eat with a professor and a friend, and they ordered guac…and I felt rude if I didn’t try it.  And I LOVED it!  Now I make some mean homemade guac.

5. I took clogging for 12 years.  I can do a mean double step.

6. I used to perform at Silver Dollar City.  For two summers, I spent 6 days a week there.  It was so fun.  I was in Jr. High (and performed with other kids) so after our shows, we would go ride rides.  I also performed in the show that opened the park, so I got to be in the park before it opened.  SDC is magical early in the mornings.  And I have been there very late at night for rehearsals.  Nothing is creepier than all those old buildings in the pitch black dark.  And there are TONS of animals roaming around.

7. I didn’t ride a roller coaster until I was 13.  And that was because I was working at Silver Dollar City.  My castmates literally carried me onto Wildfire for a ride.  I cried through the whole thing then begged to go again.

8. Contrary to every jewelry commercial, I don’t want a charm bracelet.  They are nice and very pretty….just not my style.  I told Tyler that and he bummed out.  Apparently, he was going to buy me one for our anniversary.  Ooops!  At least I said something! :/

9. In college, I got so many scholarships, I got extra money (which is basically unheard of at OBU).  I spent the extra money on a DSLR camera, two nice lenses and Photoshop Elements.  I also got to use scholarship money to take a trip to NY with my mom.  The scholarship paid for 75% of my trip!

10.  I graduated college and grad school with a 4.0.  You can call me smarty pants if you want, but basically I just retain information really well.   So once I hear it, I can recall it very easy.  I’m a great test taker.

11. Tulips are my favorite flower.

And the questions Kristin asked….

1. If you could tell your forty year old future self something, what would it be?  Keep exercising.  Even if you get busy, you LOVE the way it makes you feel now….and it will only help you stay healthy.  Don’t stop being active.

2. What is your favorite restaurant (local or franchise)?  My favorite local place is Rolando’s.  We don’t eat there often (its out of the way and $$$) but MAN are their shrimp quesadillas and guacamole good!

3. What are your favorite colors to decorate with? I am really drawn to turquoise.  There are lots of turquoise accents in our house.

4. If you could tell the world one thing, what would it be?  That Jesus loves them just as they are…and He wants to save them from Hell.  And that all they have to do is accept him freely and follow Him.  His grace and His love are powerful.

5. What is your profession?  I work in Digital Marketing for a car dealership.

6. If you could drop everything and go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? I would probably go back to Hawaii (as long as my dear hubby could go too!).  It was the most fun, most beautiful, most relaxing place on Earth for me.  I loved our honeymoon there.

7. What is your favorite guilty pleasure TV show?  I love to watch The Millionaire Matchmaker.

8. What are three positive things about yourself? I love my eyes, I think I sing well, and I think I am really confident.

9. What is your favorite book and why? THE HUNGER GAMES!  The first books in a loooong time that really captivated me.  They have action, love, suspense, and imagination.  BEST BOOKS EVER!!!!

10. If you could have dinner with any person from history (dead or alive), who would it be?  Probably my Grandpa Dick.  I loved him so much.  He died when I was in the 4th grade and I would love to hear his advice to me as an adult.

11. If you could be a character from a book, which character would you be and from what book? I would like to be Allie from the Notebook.  I love that book and that love story.

I will tag….

The questions I would like to ask are:

8. What snack do you eat at the movies?
9. If your house was on fire and you had time to grab any three things, what would you grab?
