The Rest of New York

The Rest of New York

The conference continued in full swing and at night we explored and had a little fun.

I went to Shuffle Along, or the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921. It was still in previews, and while they had a few kinks to work out- the cast was STAR STUDDED. They were SO talented and I loved all the tap dancing.

And to top it off, I had a GREAT seat.

One night Becky and I met up with my friend Liz and saw Waitress! And OMG it was SO good.

The curtain and stage were ADORABLE.  The side was a pie cooler with pies spinning in it!

One day at lunch, we walked around outside and brought back Junior’s cheesecake (which was conveniently across the street from the conference hotel) so that made the afternoon sessions MUCH more enjoyable!

We had dinner one night at Southern Hospitality, which is a southern BBQ place (apparently that Justin Timberlake is an owner of!) and the food was GOOD.  Like legit Memphis BBQ good.

We came home last Thursday, so it was nice to have the weekend at home to unpack and get back in the groove.
