Weekend: Radio and Wedding

So we had an eventful weekend. We did dinner and a movie at home Friday, but our Saturday was packed!

Tyler had a radio remote at his shop with the Rebel….They brought their big truck and set up inside his shop.
The reason for the radio promo was that the American Beta representative was in town and brought the new bikes for people to see and test drive. It was fun. This was the Beta tent outside with all the bikes.

Then we scrurried out as soon as the radio remote was over, and we went to the wedding of two great friends from OBU, Christa and Jay. Ty and Christa grew up together, so the wedding was in Ty’s hometown. I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited when we sat down inside the church and I looked across the way and saw this lady: this is Judah. She and I were great friends at OBU. We had a group of 5 of us we called the Fab 5 and we hung out together all the time. I LOVE this girl and was so thrilled to see her and get to spend part of the evening with her!

This was us at the wedding. It was so neat! The reception was at the high school’s union. It was built after Ty graduated, so he’d never been either and it was the nicest building. They made it so pretty for a wedding.

Tyler and Christa, the bride. They were great friends growing up. He snuck in a dance, and he said after that even though he thinks it happened accidentally (they were talking and a great slow song came on…and the groom was across the room chatting too), he was so glad they got to talk and dance. She is like a sister to him. Didn’t she make a lovely bride? Ty and I both loved her dress. It was funny that he was talking fashion with me!

Also, my MIL Nancy was the bride’s Sunday school teacher back in the day and Christa spent many nights at their house with all the high school friends playing pool and video games and hanging out, so of course, Nancy was at the wedding. We got in some dancing time too! It was so fun! We are on the right grooving to the twist!

We came home and I had a hankering for cheese dip. There was food at the wedding, but it was snacky food….so we went to Walmart and got ro-tel and velveeta and chips. I decided to add a little dry ranch seasoning to the cheese dip and it was AH-MAZ-ING! You must try. We ate the whole bowl of cheese dip and watched another movie. We are working our way through the Bourne trilogy, and watched 1 and 2 this weekend.
Sunday we were really lazy and only got out to eat salad bar at Jason’s Deli. It was a great weekend with my honey!
